Love your Body

January is the month for resolutions, mostly for a renewed determination to lose weight and exercise. Advertisers prey on this and we are bombarded with pictures of  perfect bodies in their desire to sell their products.

Don’t Compare Yourself

Taking care of yourself is good, being physically active is good, losing or gaining weight is good, if needed, and eating healthy is good. But being bombarded with photoshopped images and comparing yourself and your looks to anyone else is harmful to your body, mind and spirit.

Your Body Believes What You Tell It

Remember your body believes everything you tell it. Be kind and grateful instead of negative and critical. Think of everything your imperfect body has done for you in your lifetime so far; your feet have walked miles and miles and ran races, your eyes have seen many beautiful sunrises and sunsets, you have swam in oceans and lakes, you have given and received many kisses and hugs, you have made love, you may have born children, etc etc whatever your life experiences have been so far.

Gratitude

Tell your body how greatful you are for all it has allowed you to do on your earthy journey so far. Thank your body for housing your spirit to have this wonderful earthy experience. Always remembering this is the only body you get to take you the rest of the way. Take care of your body, love your body, be kind to your body and always be greatful for your body. Do not buy into the worlds propaganda and the evil designs of conspiring men and women who are trying to take your money by making you feel like you aren’t good enough, thin enough, pretty enough or rich enough.

We were never meant to look the same, act the same or think the same. We are each beautiful and unique. Enjoy your body and your journey.

You have the power to heal yourself, it is your birthright. And it is my mission to help you learn the many ways available to you.
